Jeanne McMains has been a practicing attorney in the areas of estate planning, business succession and family philanthropy since 1995. After owning her own law firm and practicing with a large multi-state law firm, Jeanne currently serves as Executive Vice President, Offerings and Marketing with the National Christian Foundation, where she and her team assists families nationwide with achieving their charitable giving goals. Throughout her career, Jeanne has served as a featured presenter for several financial institutions including A.G. Edwards & Sons, AllianceBernstein, Fidelity Investments, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, New York Life, Northwestern Mutual, Principal Financial Group and Ronald Blue & Company. She is also a speaker for numerous charitable organizations. Jeanne obtained her law degree from Indiana University on a full ride academic scholarship, and her undergraduate degree from Purdue University with summa cum laude (highest distinction) honors.
Jeff Waldron, J.D., LL.M.
Gift Planning Attorney @NCF
Jeff Waldron serves as a Gift Planning Attorney with The National Christian Foundation (NCF), where he assists individuals and families to achieve their charitable goals through the gifting of complex assets. Prior to joining NCF, Jeff was a partner in a large Minneapolis law firm. In private practice, Jeff served closely held companies and their owners in the areas of business planning, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, succession planning, tax planning, and wealth preservation. Jeff obtained his law degree from Drake University Law School and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Daniel Hicks, J.D.
Gift Planning Attorney @NCF
Daniel serves as a charitable gift and estate-planning attorney with NCF. He works with generous families and business owners to create giving strategies for minimizing income and estate tax liabilities to better impact charitable causes. Prior to joining NCF in early 2019, Daniel was a partner with Ingersoll & Hicks, PLLC in the Winston-Salem, NC and Greenville, SC offices and prior to that, an estate-planning attorney with Nexsen Pruet in its North and South Carolina offices. His principal areas of practice are Estate Planning, Tax, Charitable Planning and Tax-Exempt Organizations. He is a member of the NC and SC Bars and is a member of the Estate Planning & Fiduciary Law Section of the NC Bar and the Estate Planning Section of the SC Bar. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Bob Jones University and his J.D. degree from the UNC at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1997. He is a frequent speaker on stewardship, estate planning and complex charitable planning techniques.
